Sewing Machine Repairs, Rebuilds, Call-Outs and Restoration Work
ALL REPAIRS AND REBUILDS are carried out in the workshop to the rear of our showroom. If you have a problem with your machine we will give you a free estimate. Each machine will have its own individual problem so we do not give a fixed price and you are not under any obligation to have it mended if you don't want to. All replacement parts are supplied and fitted with the manufacturer’s guarantee.
WE RESTORE all types of sewing machines including antiques and collectibles that we sell in our showroom, and we are also commissioned to undertake restoration work for our trade customers including the London Sewing Machine Museum.
WE OFFER A CALL-OUT SERVICE to factories, cottage industries, commercial outlets, laundries, hotels, care homes etc and have Preferred Status for schools, colleges, hospitals and Government agencies. We cover Kent, London and the Home Counties as standard, and other UK destinations by special arrangement.
WE ALSO OFFER A BLADE-SHARPENING SERVICE for garden and household tools, scissors, chef’s knives etc. When sharpening blades you’ll want to achieve an angle that provides both a razor sharp, effortless cutting edge and a durable angle that won’t dull after every use, so if we can help you, just drop your items into the shop.
